Who can take courses?
ITLS offers two core programs: the Basic Course for first responders, and registered nurses and PCP. The Advanced Course is for PCP, ICP, ACP, Registered Nurses and physicians. Please note that some professional groups may only require a basic level provider because of scope of practice regulations within the profession. By taking an Advanced Course, ITLS does not certify to practice those skills. Always contact your professional licensing body or regulator for specific requirements.
Please contact the ITLS instructor who you took your course from. They will have an electronic copy. Please note that effective January 1, 2015 ITLS Saskatchewan now only issues ITLS cards in an electronic format.
How do I become an instructor?
If you are interested in becoming an instructor, please contact ITLS Saskatchewan directly for details. ITLS Saskatchewan can provide you with the current policy and process required to become an instructor. If you are currently an ITLS instructor in another province please contact ITLS Saskatchewan for possible reciprocity.
